Terms and Conditions

Website: www.littlebuilderskitchen.com
Last Updated: 24 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Little Builders Kitchen (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase and use of our digital products and services.

Little Builders Kitchen operates from New South Wales, Australia, and may offer its products to customers internationally.

By accessing our website, purchasing a product or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, subject to any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

2. Our Digital Products

Little Builders Kitchen creates and sells individual interactive digital storybooks, primarily designed for children aged 3–5.

Depending on the title, our interactive books may include:

  • Animated and interactive story pages
  • Read-aloud narration
  • Educational videos and demonstrations
  • Interactive quizzes and learning games
  • Food-building and creative activities
  • Early literacy and educational exercises
  • Social and emotional learning activities

The features included in each storybook may vary and are described on the relevant product page.

Downloadable Stickers, Colouring Pages and Activities

Little Builders Kitchen may also provide downloadable stickers, colouring pages, activity sheets and other printable educational resources.

These materials may be offered as separate digital products, free resources or additional activities included with selected storybooks.

Downloadable resources are included with a purchase only where expressly stated in the relevant product description.

Downloads may be supplied in PDF, PNG, JPG or other suitable digital formats.

Customers may download, save and print these resources for personal, non-commercial use within their own household.

Printed colours, sizes and quality may vary depending on the customer’s printer, paper, ink and settings.

Customers are responsible for supplying their own printing materials and equipment.

All Little Builders Kitchen products are digital unless expressly advertised otherwise. No physical books, stickers, colouring pages or other printed materials will be shipped.

Unless specifically stated on a product page, purchasing an interactive storybook does not include a downloadable or printable copy of the storybook itself.

Access to interactive storybooks generally requires an internet connection, a compatible device and a suitable web browser.

3. Customer Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

Purchases and customer accounts must be managed by adults aged 18 years or older, or persons otherwise legally permitted to enter into a purchase agreement.

Our digital content is designed primarily for young children, but parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of our products.

Parents and guardians should determine whether each story, activity or learning experience is appropriate for their child’s age, abilities and individual circumstances.

4. Safety and Supervision

Little Builders Kitchen encourages creativity, educational development and family participation through food-related stories and activities.

Appropriate adult supervision is essential whenever children participate in cooking, food preparation, crafting or other practical activities.

  • Adults must handle knives, scissors, ovens, hot surfaces and potentially dangerous appliances.
  • Parents and guardians must check ingredients for allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions.
  • Ingredients and activities should be appropriate for the child’s age and abilities.
  • Small objects, craft materials and food items must be assessed for potential choking hazards.
  • Good food hygiene, handwashing and safe food preparation practices should always be followed.
  • Ingredients must be fresh, properly stored and safe to consume.
  • Children must be supervised when using scissors, glue, sticker materials or other craft supplies.
  • Printed and downloadable activities should be used with age-appropriate materials and supervision.

Our materials are intended for educational and entertainment purposes and do not replace professional medical, dietary, nutritional or food-safety advice.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Individual Purchases and Payments

Little Builders Kitchen sells individual digital products for a one-time purchase price unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page.

Purchasing an individual digital storybook does not create a monthly subscription or recurring payment obligation.

Applicable prices, currencies, taxes and total charges will be displayed before checkout is completed.

We may change prices for future purchases without affecting orders already accepted.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processing services.

We do not ordinarily receive or store customers’ complete payment card details on our website servers.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information.

6. Digital Delivery

Following successful payment confirmation, customers will receive access to their purchased digital products through the delivery method described at checkout.

Interactive storybooks may be accessed through a customer account, order confirmation, secure digital access link or another method specified at purchase.

Downloadable stickers, colouring pages and other printable resources may be delivered through digital download links, customer accounts or email instructions.

Download links may have reasonable technical or security restrictions. Any material download limit or expiry affecting a purchased product will be disclosed before purchase where required by law.

No physical delivery is provided.

If a purchased product is not delivered, a download or access link fails, or a significant technical problem occurs, customers should contact:

izel@littlebuilderskitchen.com

We will investigate and take reasonable steps to resolve delivery or access problems in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Digital Access and Availability

Purchased interactive storybooks do not currently have a scheduled expiry date.

Little Builders Kitchen aims to maintain access to purchased storybooks on an ongoing basis for as long as reasonably practicable.

Our digital products rely on technology and services that may occasionally experience interruptions, updates or changes in functionality.

Where reasonably practicable, we will take reasonable steps to maintain or restore access, resolve significant technical issues or provide suitable alternatives.

Downloadable products are supplied according to the delivery and access arrangements described at purchase. Customers are encouraged to retain their own copies of any files provided for download.

Purchasing digital content does not transfer ownership of our publishing systems, software, underlying source files or website infrastructure.

Nothing in this section affects customers’ rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Third-Party Technology and Services

Little Builders Kitchen uses licensed digital publishing technology, website infrastructure and interactive content services to create, host and deliver its products.

Certain features, including animations, narration, videos, quizzes, games and other interactive elements, may depend on external technology providers.

These services may occasionally experience technical interruptions, software updates, compatibility changes, changes in functionality or discontinuation.

Where reasonably practicable, Little Builders Kitchen will take reasonable steps to maintain access, resolve material technical issues or provide suitable alternative functionality.

We may maintain independent backup copies of digital products to support business continuity. Such backups may differ from the original presentation and may not reproduce every interactive element.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits statutory rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Refund Policy

NO VOLUNTARY REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES FOR CHANGE OF MIND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Due to the digital nature of our products, Little Builders Kitchen does not offer voluntary refunds, exchanges or store credits merely because a customer:

  • Changes their mind after purchasing
  • Accidentally purchases the wrong storybook or downloadable product
  • Decides they no longer want the purchased product
  • Does not use, read, download or print the purchased product
  • Prefers another product after purchase
  • Does not have suitable printing equipment for a clearly described printable resource

This policy applies where the product has been correctly supplied as described and applicable law does not require a refund or another remedy.

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or guarantee that cannot legally be excluded.

Customers may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement access, price reduction, cancellation or another remedy where required by the Australian Consumer Law or applicable consumer protection laws in another jurisdiction.

This may include circumstances where a purchased product is not delivered, is materially different from its description, is defective or fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Customers experiencing an issue should contact:

izel@littlebuilderskitchen.com

Please include your order number and a description of the problem so we can investigate.

We will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

10. International Purchases and Cancellation Rights

Little Builders Kitchen may sell digital products internationally.

Applicable consumer protection laws and cancellation rights may vary depending on the customer’s country of residence.

Customers in certain jurisdictions, including eligible customers in the European Union and United Kingdom, may have statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights for online purchases.

For qualifying digital-content transactions, an applicable statutory withdrawal or cancellation right may be lost when digital delivery begins, but only if all relevant legal requirements have been satisfied.

Depending on the applicable law, these requirements may include express consent to immediate digital delivery, acknowledgment of the consequences for cancellation rights and confirmation of the agreement.

Simply agreeing to these general Terms and Conditions does not necessarily satisfy all legal requirements for losing a statutory cancellation right.

Where a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right remains available, Little Builders Kitchen will honour that right.

Eligible customers may submit a clear withdrawal request by emailing:

izel@littlebuilderskitchen.com

Customers may use the following optional withdrawal wording:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my purchase of the following digital product(s):

. Order number: [number]. Order date: [date]. Customer name: [name]. Customer address: [address]. Date of notice: [date].

Where applicable law requires an online withdrawal function or other cancellation facility, that function must also be provided.

11. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Little Builders Kitchen’s original stories, characters, illustrations, narration, branding, animations, creative materials and other original content are owned by Little Builders Kitchen or used under appropriate licences.

Some material may be created using licensed digital tools or artificial intelligence-assisted processes. Third-party material remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.

Purchasing a digital product grants the customer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial licence to use the purchased content in accordance with these Terms.

Customers may not, without prior written permission:

  • Copy or reproduce our interactive storybooks for redistribution
  • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit our content
  • Share restricted storybook access links with unauthorised persons
  • Upload our products to other websites or online platforms
  • Sell or redistribute our illustrations, characters, narration, videos or creative materials
  • Distribute purchased printable files to third parties
  • Claim our original work as their own
  • Remove ownership notices or copyright information
  • Extract, scrape or repurpose content for unauthorised commercial use

Permitted Use of Printable Materials

Where Little Builders Kitchen expressly provides downloadable stickers, colouring pages or other printable resources, customers may download, save and print copies for personal, non-commercial use within their own household.

This permission does not include selling, redistributing, publicly uploading, commercially reproducing or sharing the original digital files with others without written permission, except where permitted by law.

Purchasing or downloading a printable resource does not transfer copyright or commercial ownership of the underlying artwork or design.

Unauthorised distribution or commercial exploitation may result in appropriate legal action.

Nothing in this section restricts activity expressly permitted by applicable copyright or consumer law.

12. Customer Accounts and Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login details and restricted digital access links.

Customers must not attempt to access restricted areas of our website without authorisation, interfere with website security or use our services unlawfully.

Little Builders Kitchen may take reasonable steps to restrict access in cases involving fraud, security threats, serious misuse or violations of these Terms.

Any restriction or suspension will be subject to applicable legal rights.

We will not arbitrarily remove access from legitimate customers.

13. External Content and Links

Our website and digital storybooks may contain external links, embedded media or content supplied by independent service providers.

External services may operate under their own terms, privacy policies and technical requirements.

Little Builders Kitchen cannot control every subsequent change made to external websites, videos, games or other online content.

However, we will take reasonable care when selecting content and responding to material issues that are reported to us.

Parents and guardians should supervise children when they access external websites or interactive content.

14. Product Updates and Changes

Little Builders Kitchen may update its products to improve performance, correct errors, maintain compatibility, replace broken links or introduce new features.

Such updates may reasonably affect the appearance or operation of particular features.

We will not arbitrarily substitute an unrelated product for a purchased storybook.

Where a change materially reduces functionality promised at purchase or fails to comply with applicable law, customers retain their mandatory rights and remedies.

15. Liability and Consumer Guarantees

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Little Builders Kitchen is not responsible for losses arising solely from unreasonable misuse of its products, activities conducted without appropriate supervision or circumstances for which applicable law does not make us responsible.

We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms removes, restricts or modifies statutory consumer guarantees, mandatory refund rights, cancellation rights or other legal remedies available to customers.

Australian customers may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. International customers may have additional mandatory rights in their countries of residence.

16. Privacy and Personal Information

Little Builders Kitchen respects customer privacy.

Our Privacy Policy below explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and manage personal information.

Where applicable law requires separate consent for cookies, marketing or the collection of children’s personal information, that consent must be obtained through appropriate processes.

Agreement to these Terms does not replace legally required consent.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws and jurisdictional rights that apply in other countries.

We encourage customers to contact us first if they experience a problem with a purchase, digital delivery or product functionality.

We will investigate and attempt to resolve genuine concerns reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents customers from exercising their statutory rights or contacting an appropriate court, consumer protection authority or regulator.

If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms when our products, services or legal obligations change. Updated Terms will not retrospectively remove rights customers have already acquired unless legally permitted.

Personal information may therefore be transferred to or processed in countries outside Australia.

Where applicable law requires particular safeguards, information, transfer arrangements or other protections, we will comply with those requirements.
